Seventeen - Anniversary Black Lager
Limited Release. May, 2010.
This year's anniversary brew is,
for the first time not an ale, but a lager. "Seventeen is a strong,
dark brew with smooth and roasty malts and bright, pungent and spicy

Very good balance between the
toffee and the floral bitterness of the hops.

Cheese
of

Cablanca Goat Gouda
Netherlands
Another
exceptional cheese from D H DeJong, the Dutch producer also known for
their popular "Artist Series" cheeses: DaVinci (Gouda with olives,
tomatoes and Mediterranean seasonings), Rembrandt (Extra Aged Gouda)
and others.
Cablanca has some of the tasty tangy character
of goat milk, but is much milder than most goat cheeses.
Cablana is a white cheese with a firm,
yet creamy texture and a hint of nuttiness in the flavors.
It is a delicious component for a cheese tray
selection. Vegetables and salads gain flavor with a sprinkling of
grated Cablanca. How about the ultimate cheese toast melt?
Yum! Cablanca gives a flavor lift to many dishes and recipes.
This a wonderful cheese companion for beers and wines,
whites, rosés and reds. Great with sparkling wines as
aperitifs.
We especially enjoy it with Côtes du Rhônes and
Spanish Grenache-based wines.
A versatile, tasty companion.
